Dear friends,
If you went to my regularly scheduled show at Caffe Salotto tonight,
then you already know. Caffe Salotto--my favorite little cafe where
I have been singing for so many years--has gone out of business.
I am very saddened by the news; Caffe Salotto played a big part
in my development as a musician. Within those walls I transformed
from a timid teenager in black into a seasoned performer. I have
loved seeing your smiling faces there week after week as I tested
new material, sang spontaneous cover songs, and interacted with
all of you.
Hopefully, someone will buy the shop soon and we will have many
more nights like those. With summer vacation soon approaching, I
look forward to writing and recording and seeing you all again soon.
